Childrens Workshops
Children will have the choice of an mdf base (approx. 15cm square) or a mirrored base and can then choose from 3 or 4 basic templates (e.g. shape, geometric pattern or letter). We do supply a good range of coloured tiles and other media, which are a mix of glass and ceramic. All tiles are pre-cut for safety.
The childrens' mosaic projects are usually finished within an hour and a half depending on ability.

Option A - Community Groups, Clubs or Schools
For groups of between 6 to 30 participants
1 hour workshop (no grouting) £75*
3 hour workshop (inclusive of grouting) £175*

Option B - Mosaic Projects
Often schools, clubs or community groups like to work on a specific project in the form of a large mural or collection of murals. This can be achieved through an initial meeting with the group lead to discuss ideas, which will then lead onto a design session with the group itself. From this, a proposal will be drafted and a decision made on that basis.
Daily rate is £220 per day (materials not included*).
*Cost for materials ranges from £75 - £200
Option C - Private Tuition
One-2-one mosaic tuition is also offered where the student is taught a brief history of mosaics, cutting, spacing, how to lay tiles, grouting and sticking methods. Each session lasts for 2 hours and is charged at £25 (this includes materials). As a guide, 3 sessions are usually required to complete a project but the student is free to attend as many sessions as he/she wishes. This session is suitable for age 12+.
